About
A place to examine the practice behind the work.
Close Practice is a founder-led publication about sales craft, organizations, context, systems, judgment, and practical AI.
Why it exists
Knowing is not the same as practicing.
Most experienced professionals already know more than they consistently use. The harder problem is creating the context, operating rhythm, and judgment that make good work repeatable.
Close Practice turns observations from real commercial work into stories, frameworks, field notes, and practical resources. It is not an AI-news publication and it is not currently a consulting funnel.
About Joshua

An experienced practitioner, still learning.
I’m Joshua Sigler. I’ve spent my career inside sales organizations—selling, supporting enterprise deals, building partnerships, helping open a new market, and working through the gap between a process on paper and what happens in practice.
I write in the first person when an experience is mine. I’ll distinguish what I observed from what someone reported, what I infer, and what evidence can actually support.

Useful before impressive
Concrete work, plain language, and earned conclusions.
Specific about uncertainty
Failures, limits, corrections, and unanswered questions belong in the record.
Human judgment stays visible
Tools can assist the work without becoming the author or accountable decision-maker.
